Hove & Kingsway Bowling Club was established in 1970 by the merger of Hove Bowling Club, established 1896, and Kingsway Bowling Club, established 1925. It is a friendly mixed club where men, women and juniors all enjoy a game of bowls and each others company. Bowlers have the opportunity to use as many as 24 rinks on the Hove lawns which are close to public transport and the beach. The prestigious Hove Open Tournament takes place during July along with evening entertainment in the club.
In addition to our many and varied bowling activities the club has a thriving social side, with regular quiz nights, musical entertainment, summer BBQ’s, family fun days, bingo and more. The club has a Bar, Cafe and entertaining area. Croquet takes place on the lawns two or three times a week throughout the year.
